A gold and silver 'en tremblant' branch brooch with diamonds, ca. 1830-1850 Designed as a flower amid leaf motifs, completely set with cushion cut and old-cut diamonds. Open settings at the back. 'En tremblant': a part of a jewel (often brooches) that is placed on a spring, causing it to vibrate with every movement and therefore reflect extra light. Incl. old pencil case. Gross weight: 20.5 g. ca. 7 x 4 cm. central diamond: 5.05 x 5.75 x 3.90 mm.
