Charles Rochussen (1814-1894), 'Ox carts on a mountain road in the canton of St. Gallen' monogrammed ‘CR’ f (= fecit) and dated ‘74’ r.o. A watercolour with almost exactly the same representation, dated ‘July 1871’ and annotated ‘kanton St Gallen’ is in the collection of the Rijksmuseum inv.nr. RP-T-1950-89. Watercolour, ca. 50 x 60 cm, 69, 5 x 80,5 cm (frame).
