Hein Verdonk (late 19th - early 20th century) - Hein Verdonk (late 19th - early 20th century) Painted album containing a visual account of an adventurous trip by ship to Sweden, including visits to the Swedish island of Gotland and Stockholm en route. Exciting activities are depicted such as whaling, being stuck among ice floes, sleighing across the ice, reindeer hunting, the Northern Lights, bear hunting, a hurricane in the North Sea and fireworks in Stockholm.
