On four claw feet. With loose metal inner tray. First grade (925/1000). Marked on the underside with: Tiffany & Co Union Square. With pattern number 2987 (used between 1870 and 1875). With maker/designer's mark: M, under the direction of Edward C. Moore (1827-1891) and commission number 918. Gross weight silver: 292.2 grams. Height 20.5 cm.
