Portuguese Porcelain Plate - Molded and embossed, marked ”Spal” on the base, with a gold-trimmed rim on a yellow background, and a gallant scene in the center painted by Jean-Honoré Fragonard, a French painter whose Rococo style was distinguished by its remarkable ease, exuberance, and hedonism. The painting is in polychrome on a glazed white background and is in good general condition, as seen in the photos. Diameter: 26.5 cm.
