June 4, 1810 by Edwd Orme, London.” Dimensions: frame dimensions approx. 32 x 25 cm, image dimensions approx. 21.5 x 17 cm. Good condition with traces of age, some staining. John Collier (1708-1786), pseudonym ”Tim Bobbin” with caricatures of human suffering, vices and vanities. He became particularly popular through his caricature work published with poetic accompanying text and especially the four drastic dentist scenes.
