Very finely detailed depiction of a scene in front of the church gate. The people are depicted very vividly in their everyday activities. Inscribed lower right: ”ENTRANCE GATE & CHURCH OF ST MARTIN, COLOGNE. Label with information about the picture on the reverse. Dimensions: frame dimensions approx. 55 x 44.5 cm, picture dimensions approx. 40.5 x 29 cm. Very good condition with slight signs of age and use, a few small stains.
