Image 1 entitled ”In the garden” from 1938, a very colourful depiction of four people and a dog in a lush garden. Signed lower right: V. Meier 38. Image 2 also a depiction of a large family at a party in front of a garden shed, painted in bold colours. Title: ”Fam. Gartenfest”, inscribed at the bottom: V. Meier. Dimensions approx. 43.5 x 30.5 cm. In very good condition, with slight signs of age and use.
