Paul Paede (1868 -1929) - The first snow - Paul Paede (1868 -1929) - The first snow Oil on canvas framed in a splendidly stuccoed wooden frame painted in gold. Depiction of a landscape in bold brushstrokes, with a farmstead in shades of brown and green, on which the first snow has fallen. Signed lower right: P. Paede. Inscribed and with information on the artist on the reverse. Dimensions: frame dimensions approx. 75 x 61 cm, image dimensions approx. 55 x 41 cm. Very good condition with traces of age and use, slight craquelure in the centre, canvas dented in one place. Frame bumped with signs of abrasion and missing part. Paul Paede (31 December 1868 in Berlin - 4 January 1929 in Munich) was a German painter.
