Baroque oil portrait of a nobleman, 1652 - Baroque oil portrait of a nobleman, 1652 Oil on canvas, unframed. Bust portrait of a richly dressed nobleman aged 33 with shoulder-length, curly hair and beard. He is turned towards the viewer in three-quarter profile, his left hand resting on a rapier, but is not looking directly at him. His opulent clothing is decorated with fine borders and he wears a square white collar. Inscribed top left: ”ATATIS 33. A°. 1632”. Measures approx. 75.5 x 60 cm. In good condition with traces of age and use, slight craquelure, minor losses, especially in the margins, corners bumped.
