A herd of cows graze on a wide plain behind a dyke with a windmill. In the foreground, five of them are taking a break by a body of water; to their right, a building can be seen between the trees. A blue sky with many clouds stretches across the vast landscape. Signed quite illegibly at the bottom. Dimensions: frame dimensions approx. 87 x 68 cm, picture dimensions approx. 68 x 49 cm. Good condition with traces of age and use, probably original frame, minor repairs.
