There is a pre-Christmas atmosphere, with a couple examining a Christmas tree in the foreground and boats sailing on the river. Warm yellow and orange lights shine from the houses, creating a beautiful contrast to the snow-covered buildings and the grey sky. Signed lower right: T. Köppler.
