Märklin Sprint race track slot car set 1405 (steep curve), approx. 1970 - Märklin Sprint race track slot car set 1405 (steep curve), approx. 1970 This Märklin Sprint home car racing track in original packaging includes a silver-coloured Porsche Carrera 6 sports car and a red open sports car. Both are made of plastic and, according to the manufacturer, should only be operated with direct current. Also included are two speed controllers, track sections and track parts, crash barriers and operating instructions (see pictures). Not checked for completeness and functionality. Märklin only produced ”Märklin Sprint” for 15 years (1967 - 1982). This set can be used to lay out a figure eight with an overpass and a steep curve.
