Märklin Sprint race track slot car set 1410, early 1970s - Märklin Sprint race track slot car set 1410, early 1970s This Märklin Sprint home car racing track with original packaging includes a rare red Porsche 911 Targa and an orange Porsche 911 Targa made of plastic body. The red Porsche Targa was only available in this basic set and is one of the Märklin brand's most frequently requested models in slot racing car collecting. Included are two control units, roadway sections and roadway parts, crash barriers and pillars (see pictures). Not checked for completeness and functionality, but appears complete. This set can be used to lay out a large figure eight with an overpass. Märklin produced ”Märklin Sprint” for 15 years (1967 - 1982). The 1410 set was only produced from 1970 to 1973 and is considered very rare.
