Märklin Minex building set D 9504, around 1976 - Märklin Minex building set D 9504, around 1976 The D 9504 is the largest Minex building set from Märklin and comes in original packaging with instructions for use. The almost as good as new clamp block building set opens up a variety of possibilities for designing large-scale play landscapes. The set includes surface bricks and rods, movable windows, doors and gates as well as wheel sets with wheel bearings. Several sturdy sorting boxes are also included. The Märklin clamping technology building blocks were launched on the market in 1973 as a versatile building game with ”practical click building blocks”. However, the Märklin plastic building sets did not succeed in holding their own against the competition from Denmark and the Black Forest. Production was therefore discontinued in 1976. From 1976 Märklin Plus was sold under the name Minex. Included are two Minex single models, petrol station 9018 and garage 9019.
