O & M Hausser Elastolin knight's castle No. 13512 1/2, around 1930 - O & M Hausser Elastolin knight's castle No. 13512 1/2, around 1930 The hand-painted Elastolin 13512 1/2 medieval castle with drawbridge, tower, main house, outbuildings (removable building elements) and large inner courtyard, as well as metal drawbridge and chains, is in typical vintage, used condition. The medieval castle also has a storage compartment in the base of the plinth. Hausser Elastolin only began producing castles from 1920 onwards; the model offered here can be dated to the 1930s, as the castle is made from a mould (mixture of wood dust, clay, casein and animal bone glue) on a wooden base plate. There is patina and age-related flaking and cracks. This is a rare piece. Size approx. 38 x 37 x 38 cm A single part of the Elastolin Masseburg, No. 13510 from the 1920s (see pictures) is included. This belonged to Hausser's production series of realistically modelled medieval mountain fortresses on a small scale, which were cast entirely from composite material (without wodden top plate).
