Meccano Märklin metal construction set in wooden box, 1920s - Meccano Märklin metal construction set in wooden box, 1920s This is presumably a so-called splendid version of kit no. 6, although there is no longer any lettering on the lid. The key and parts of the locking hooks are missing. Not checked for completeness and functionality. The beautiful wooden box is in age-appropriate condition with metal components from both Meccano and Märklin. It could possibly also contain parts from the 1910s and 1930s. The two-part wooden box is well sorted, with many additional parts, screws and nuts in small cigarette packets (see pictures). Very heavy!
