Märklin Minex building set No. 01, 1939-40 - Märklin Minex building set No. 01, 1939-40 The Minex building set No. 01 offered here is in the original box, the inside looks very good. Enclosed is an incomplete Minex building set in its original packaging, probably no. 03. Märklin introduced the Minex metal building set system in 1939, it was only produced until 1940 and was not reintroduced into the range after the Second World War. Compared to the classic Märklin metal building set, the Minex building set systems were only half the size and were advertised by Märklin as a miniature metal building set. Bakelite wheel discs and gear wheels were used for the first time in these Märklin metal construction sets. Enclosed are the Minex instruction book No. 071a and No. 070, as well as post-war screw boxes made of red metal, which contain various small parts, including those of the common Märklin post-war metal construction sets. Not checked for completeness and functionality.
