The central form is reminiscent of a rotating, spiral-like structure, pierced by sharp-edged, wedge-shaped elements. Signed and dated ‘F. DEL MARLE 1913’ in the lower left corner, gouache, charcoal and white chalk on paper. Paper with manufacturer’s watermark ‘canson et montgolfier vidalon-les-annonay’. 31.1 x 24.1 cm.
