Villeroy & Boch design service 'Little Symphony' - Villeroy & Boch design service 'Little Symphony' 6-piece, Villeroy & Boch, Mettlach, 1989/90, porcelain, white, coloured, partially painted gold, ‘Little Symphony’ tea service from the ‘Spirit of Europe’ design project by Villeroy & Boch in collaboration with the Parsons School of Design in New York, under the direction of Marek Cecula from the Ceramic Design Department, ten students from the design school produced and developed their own tableware collection in a limited edition of a maximum of 50 unique pieces per series (as a rule, the number of 50 pieces was not reached). The ‘Little Symphony’ service by designer Niwat Hatthavichitkul is a tribute to Europe as the cradle of symphonic orchestral music. 1 serving tray (piano), 46.5 x 28.5 cm, 2 coffee mugs with clefs, H 9 cm, 1 jug (trumpet), H 30 cm, 1 sugar bowl (kettledrum), H 11.5 cm and 1 milk jug (double bass), H 16.5 cm, sugar bowl slightly damaged on the knob and on the wall, with manufacturer's mark and inscription on the underside, condition B/C, copy of literature available
