Rare Tiffany, Peretti, Large 18K Teardrop Earrings
A pair of 18K yellow gold Tiffany & Co by Elsa Peretti large 18K yellow gold teardrop earrings. These discontinued, hard to find earrings have a unique hidden drop wire attachment. Measuring approximately 19mm long and overall from wire to bottom of pendant, approximately 27-29mm long, these earrings weigh 8.2dwt and come with a Tiffany lidded cardboard gift box and microfiber snap earring pouch. The largest Peretti teardrop, drop earrings found available new are 12mm long and retail at $2,500. These earrings are impossible to find used. Very light polishing swirls present.
Condition: JEWELRY CONDITIONS/TERMS Colored gemstones may have been treated to improve their look, through methods such as heating and oiling. These methods are accepted by the international jewelry trade but may make the gemstone less strong and/or require special care over time. All types of gemstones may have been improved by some method. You may request a gemological report for any lot which does not have a report if the request is made to us at least two days before the date of the sale and you pay the fee for the report. We do not obtain a gemological report for every gemstone sold in our sales. If we have gemological reports from internationally accepted gemological laboratories, such reports may be described in the Sale Particulars. Laboratories may not agree whether a particular gemstone has been treated, the amount of treatment or whether treatment is permanent. The gemological laboratories will only report on the improvements or treatments known to the laboratories at the date of the report. For jewelry sales, all condition estimates are based on the information in any gemological report or, if no gemological report is available, you should assume that the gemstones may have been treated or enhanced.
