Willow Auction House's Spring Curated Auction includes more than 100 lots of artwork, porcelain, pottery, and more. The sale features a selection of artwork, including paintings by Aldro Thompson Hibbard, Hattie Brunner and Chauncey Ryder, as well several studies by Konstantin Makoysky and a collection of illustration art including a pen & ink drawing by Rose O'Neill and a Gertrude Kay gouache. A collection of Russian decorative items is also featured, including a Faberge 84 silver and enamel dish, Gardner and Popove porcelain figurines and a Kornilov Brothers plate. Other highlights include a Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre plate, a Gertud & Otto Natzler bowl, Annette Corcoran figural teapots and a 34 star guidon of the NY 4th Cavalry. Rounding out the sale is a selection of Japanese art and pottery from the estate of Ruth Nelkin. A Hiroshi Yoshida scroll, Toko Shinoda lithographs, pottery by Suzuki Sansei and Masanao Kaneta, and a collection of more than 40 ehon block print books are among the highlights.

In the Style of C.M. Russell Self-Portrait
In the style of Charles Marion Russell (American, 1864-1926). Mixed media with charcoal and pastel on board, Self-Portrait. Signed lower right C.M. Russell and with artist's skull device and dated 1909. Titled, with additional info on verso "C.M. Russell Self Portrait for Will Crawford 1909, sold 1947 Sadie Crawford, Cape Cod [illegible]". 29" x 21" (with frame 33" x 25 1/4"). No glass in frame; tear lower left from edge into image, discoloration lower right and discoloration and smudges throughout; chips and losses to frame.
