George Grosz (German, 1893-1959). Bagdad-on-the-Subway: A Portfolio of Six Signed Water-Colors Depicting O. Henry's New York. Cloth folio, with 6 collotypes after watercolors by Grosz, with title page. The Print Club, New York, 1935. Each print pencil signed lower right and numbered 10/150 in pencil lower left. Each sheet 20 1/2" x 15 1/8", portfolio 21 1/4" x 15 3/4". Some toning and staining to portfolio cover, fraying along edges and at spine, tear to cloth at top and bottom of spine, fraying to cloth at corners; losses along edge of interior flap of portfolio; notation in pencil upper right on title page, title page with tears and creases to paper along edges and at corners, title page torn along fold, title page and each sheet with some waviness.
