10 Tiger Toys Captain Planet and the Planeteers Action Figure Collection, 1991 - This collection features ten original action figures from the Captain Planet and the Planeteers series, manufactured by Tiger Toys circa 1991. The lot includes five Arctic Captain Planet figures (Model 80-653) with camouflage outfits; one Captain Planet with Toxic Grime color-change features; one Ma-Ti with Rescue Pack (Model 80-665); two Ma-Ti and Kwame Bonus Packs (Model 80-626); and one Duke Nukem figure (Model 80-622) featuring glow-in-the-dark capabilities. The figures are constructed of molded plastic and vinyl, and most include character-specific accessories such as child-size rings. Each figure is mounted on its original illustrated cardboard backing with a clear plastic blister. The packaging highlights the environmental themes of the show, including ”Printed on Recycled Paper” notations and the iconic ”The Power Is Yours!” catchphrase. Storage container measures approximately 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition: All items remain in their original, unopened factory packaging. The condition of the backing cards varies from fair to good, with visible shelf wear including corner blunting, edge wear, and creasing. Specific cards exhibit surface paper loss and adhesive residue from previous price tags, most notably on the Duke Nukem and Ma-Ti/Kwame packs. The plastic blisters are generally clear and securely attached, though some show light surface scuffing.
