26 - Playmates and Galoob Star Trek Action Figure and Electronic Ship Collection, c. 1988-1996 - A comprehensive collection of twenty-eight Star Trek themed toys and collectibles, primarily from the late 1980s and early 1990s. This lot features a diverse array of items from major manufacturers including Playmates, Galoob, Ertl, and Illuminations, spanning ”The Next Generation, ” ”Deep Space Nine, ” and ”Generations” eras. Key highlights include two large-scale electronic model ships by Playmates: a Romulan Warbird (Stock No. 6154) and a Klingon Attack Cruiser (Stock No. 6155), both featuring light-up engines and authentic sound effects. The action figure assortment includes several 3.75-inch Galoob figures such as Lieutenant Tasha Yar, Lieutenant Geordi La Forge, and Lieutenant Worf, alongside 5-inch Playmates figures including Commander Benjamin Sisko and Klingon Warrior Worf. Also included is an Ertl die-cast metal Klingon Bird of Prey from ”Star Trek V: The Final Frontier” and seven carded ”Glow in the Dark Universe Collection” wall decorations by Illuminations featuring Saturn and Earth. Items are constructed of molded plastic, vinyl, and die-cast metal. Approximate dimensions of the lot as pictured: 13 x 18 inches. Condition: Most items remain in their original factory-sealed blister packs or boxes. The packaging shows varying degrees of age-appropriate shelf wear, including creasing to the cardbacks, corner softening, and original retail price stickers. Electronic components in the large ships are untested and may require battery replacement. One or two cardbacks show minor lifting of the plastic blisters. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated.
