Remco Voice Control Astronaut Base Space Playset 1969 - Vintage Voice Control Astronaut Base, Style #738, manufactured by Remco in 1969 during the height of the American space race. The construction consists of a lithographed cardboard play base and various plastic structures. The set features an electro-phone communication system powered by a Japanese motor, intended to play the included audio record so the user can listen to astronaut and mission control conversations through a tube-connected earphone.
