3 Late 19th C American Handguns Incl Smith and Wesson Model 1 - Three late 19th century American handguns. The first is a single-shot percussion boot pistol, stamped 6 4 4 on the underside of the barrel. The second is a Smith and Wesson Model 1, 3rd Issue 7-shot, .22 caliber rimfire tip-up pocket revolver, marked on the top of the barrel rib. The third is a solid-frame pocket revolver marked Defender on the top strap, possibly by Iver Johnson or Johnson and Bye. Largest (Smith & Wesson) 8” x 4”.
