18kt Gold Plique a Jour Ballerina Brooch with Diamonds - Plique a Jour Ballerina Brooch crafted in 18kt yellow and white Gold. Embellished with blue and orange and white Enamel. Accented with a center Round blue Zircon and a pave of Round cut Diamonds weighing together Approx. 0.25 carats. G color. Measurements: 2.5 x 12 inches. total weight: 18.7 grams. Condition: Plique a jour (French for ”letting in daylight”) is a vitreous enamelling technique where the enamel is applied in cells, similar to cloisonné, but with no backing in the final product, so light can shine through the transparent or translucent enamel.
