NEOCLASSICAL 1880 Enameled Hair Comb In 18Kt Gold Diamonds & Carved Agates - Likely Austrian, this rare Victorian hair comb (1880-1900) is crafted in 18kt yellow gold with platinum bezels, carved tortoiseshell, and Greek-Roman neoclassical motifs. Adorned with nine European rose-cut diamonds (0.18 carats, F/G color, VS/SI clarity), four agate spheres, and a double-layer cameo carved from orangish-red agate, it features scroll designs with white enamel. Measuring 110.5 x 128 mm (4.35 x 5.04 inches) and weighing 63.95 grams, this unmarked piece has been verified as 18kt gold and retains its original antique patina. Condition: Very good conditions.
