TIFFANY & CO. 1940 Retro Modern Clips Earrings In 14Kt Gold With Sapphires - This is a beautiful pair of retro-modernist Earrings, created in New York City by the jewelry house of Tiffany & Co, back in the 1940. The Earrings have been crafted as a left and right pair, in solid gold of 14 karats with polished finish and are fitted at the reverse with French screw backs that will fit any women. They are mount with a well-matched assortment of twelve earth mined natural blue Sapphires with an estimate weight of about 1.20 carats. Weight: 7.95 Grams, (5.10 Dwt). Measurements: 23 mm by 20 mm (0.91 x 0.79 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the gold, THE four digits serial numbers and signed as follows, ”TIFFANY & CO. 14KT 1932”.
