England 1870 Neo Gothic Pendant With Griffin In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Diamonds - Fabulous Victorian pendant-brooch, England, circa 1870, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with textured finish. Features a neo-gothic mythological Griffin pierced by a sword, detailed with engraved feathers, greenish and reddish enamel scales, and accented with nine natural gemstones. Set with 7 European rose-cut diamonds (0.23 ct), 1 oval white pearl (3.8 mm), and 1 ruby eye (0.01 ct). Measures 36 x 30 mm (1.42 x 1.18 in), weighing 8.70 grams.
