CARTIER 1972 Aldo Cipullo Earrings In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Rock Quartz & Onyx - A rare and iconic pair of Aldo Cipullo ear-clips from the celebrated “Circles” collection, created in New York City in 1972 during his Cartier collaboration period (1969–1975). Expertly crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish finish, the design features a circular element carved from natural frosted rock quartz, secured from the reverse with screws, and accented with 10 spherical cabochon black onyx carvings in concealed settings (5.5mm; approx. 11.5 carats total) for striking contrast. Fitted with comfortable hinged French omega backs for clip wear (posts for pierced ears can be added), the earrings are substantial at 42.25 grams and measure 38 x 30mm. Both are fully stamped with maker’s marks and signed “CARTIER 1972 ©A. CIPULLO 18 KT, ” and they are accompanied by a presentation Cartier jewelry pouch; excellent condition with minimal wear and all stones secure. Condition: Very good conditions.
