DOLL & CO. 1900 German Antique Steam Twin Cylinders Piston Engine Machine - Early 20th-century Doll & Co. (Nuremberg, Germany) model twin-cylinder horizontal mill engine, an industrial-era miniature of farm/factory power units. Painted iron construction with nickel-plated guard rail, belt-operated ball governor, and finely made brass/steel components, mounted on a shaped patinated wood base for display. Recently cleaned and oiled for crisp function. Approx. 8 pounds; 165 x 280 x 203 mm (6.5 x 11 x 8 inches). Highly collectible “gentleman’s model” with strong mechanical presence. Condition: The overall condition of this Doll & Co. scale engine is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings.
