ANDREW GRIMA 1963 London Turquoises Massive Brooch In 18Kt Gold With Diamonds - Bold modernist jewel by Andrew Grima, London, dated 1963, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold and hallmarked with British London assay marks (HJCo maker’s mark; date letter h). Set with 7 round brilliant diamonds in four prongs totaling approx. 0.70 ctw (F color, VS clarity) and 9 graduated oval/round cabochon vivid blue turquoises in four prongs totaling approx. 7.00 ctw, creating a striking sculptural, post-war statement.
