BLACK STARR & FROST 1925 Art Deco Platinum Ring With 3.55 Ctw Sapphires & Diamonds - Beautiful Art Deco ring by Black, Starr & Frost, America, circa 1925, crafted in solid .900 platinum with a high-polish finish and crisp millegrain detailing. Set with 17 natural gemstones: 14 pavé-set European-cut round diamonds totaling 0.70 ctw (E/F color, VS2 clarity) and three prong-set round faceted vivid blue sapphires (approx. 5–6.5mm) from the Pailin mines totaling approx. 2.85 ctw. Weight 4.98g; size 9 (sizable). Measures 14 x 22mm. Stamped with maker’s mark/serial and signed “B.S&F. PLAT 1436”. Condition: Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide Ring resizing or/and appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
