BAROVIER & TOSO 1935 Art Deco Round Torchon Picture Frame In Art-Glass & Bronze - Very rare Barovier & Toso Murano “Torchon” round picture frame, Art Deco circa 1935–1940, showcasing the celebrated Rigamenà technique that creates a rich twisted rope effect in wheel-cut clear art glass. Mounted with gilt/polished bronze and nickel-plated elements with a round glass insert, and fitted to the reverse with a concealed stand for tabletop display. Presents in excellent condition with original brass patina (can be polished if desired) and could also be converted to a mirror. Marked to the reverse, incised in the bronze “BAROVIER-TOSO MURANO.” Approx. 7 pounds; 210 x 210 x 104 mm (8.25 x 8.25 x 4.10 inches). Condition: The overall condition of this Barovier & Toso art-glass picture frame is excellent. Beside the little normal wear there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings. This frame was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition & authenticity.
