Illustrated title page with a picture of the solar system and the Zodiac, as well as images of Moshe and Aharon. Many illustrations and tables are scattered along the book's leaves. There are five dials printed in this book for calculating movements of heavenly bodies, and one large dial printed on a separate leaf that was added to the book later (between leaves 36-37).

Many rabbinic owners' signatures and glosses appear along the book. Among them: Handwritten signature of Rabbi Yisrael David Jaffe Margaliot Schlesinger, who dealt with this topic, even writing a book on the subject - Chazon LaMoed (Pressburg, 1843), as well as signatures by his grandsons, Rabbi Shmuel Jaffe Margaliot Shlesinger and Rabbi Mordechai Aryeh Haberfeld, av beit din of Slavenske.

Fine condition. Aging stains. Tears, some restored, in the margins of several leaves, most without damage to text. Restored tear in the margins of the title page with damage to individual words. Simple binding.
