Heichalot HaZohar on the seven Kabbalistic sanctuaries, by the gaon Rabbi Eliyahu - the Vilna Gaon, from the body of his manuscripts. [Königsberg, 1856]. First edition.
The book was brought to print by Rabbi Ya'akov Tzvi Meklenburg, author of HaKtav V'HaKabbalah. It opens with two title pages. The second title page is printed with details of the book from manuscript, and its source. Appreciation to the Gr"a's grandson by Shmuel Luria printed on leaf 4.
This is a special variant. Page [6] bears a letter from Rabbi Ya'akov Tzvi Meklenburg. In the more common copies, the latter is signed on the first day of Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, however, in this book, there is an additional passage at the end of the letter with appreciation to the Gr"a's grandson for his help with printing this book, and the letter is signed on 2 Nissan, 1858.
