Siddur with the Sephard text and customs and yichudim  from the Ba'al Shem Tov, with Hagahot V'Dikdukei Sofrim  by the gaon Rabbi Shabtai of Rashkov. Koritz, 1794. First edition of Siddur Rabbi Shabtai . Incomplete copy. This is the part with the prayers for festivals with the Passover Haggadah and prayers for high holidays. The first Chassidic siddur! Just a few years before this siddur was printed, there were siddurim printed using Askenazic text with Kavannot HeAr”i,   and Chassidic tzaddikim began to use these for prayer. However, this here is the first siddur using the Sephard text, with the addition of Yichudim  and customs from the Ba'al Shem Tov. Rabbi Shabtai of Rashkov, a renowned Kabbalist who was a close associate of the Ba'al Shem Tov's, arranged the siddur using Kavanot HeAr”i  with supplements from the Ba'al Shem Tov. This siddur was very sought-after by tzaddikim, and even before it was printed, people knew about it, and many desired to pray from it. This copy includes: Prayers for festivals with the Passover Haggadah. Lacking two leaves. Prayers for the high holidays, Sukkot and Simchat Torah. Lacking the final 4 leaves. 18 cm.
