Complete manuscript of the book Ohel Elimelech - life and sayings of the Rebbe Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk by Rabbi Avraham Chaim Simchah Bunim Michelsohn, son of Rabbi Tzvi Yechezkel Michaelsohn, av beit din of Plonsk. This book was printed for the first time in Premishlan in 1910.

It is not clear whether this book is the author's autograph or his copy (or that of a transcriber) for the purpose of printing, or whether it is a handwritten copy of the printed book.

The work is entirely written in neat and orderly penmanship. The book Ohel Elimelech is one of the important sources for the chronicles of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. Compiled in this book are hundreds of fragments of evidence and traditions from rare books, manuscripts and oral traditions.

Written on the title page here "The book Ohel Elimelech by the rabbi and tzaddik, the G-dly botzina [!] kedoshah [!] Admo"r R' Elimelech, author of Sefer Noam Elimelech of Lizhensk."

The author Rabbi Avraham Chaim Simchah Bunim Michelsohn authored many biographical works on rabbinic leaders of the Jewish people, primarily on Chassidic leaders, including: Ohel Avraham, Ohel Naftali, Dover Shalom, Mekor Chaim, Shemen HaTov, Ateret Menachem, and Zichron Yitzchak.
