Ashkenazic Manuscript - Novellae on Halachah and Aggadah - Germany [?] - Early 20th Century - Not Printed

The first twenty leaves of the manuscript are filled with handwritten aggadic novellae on the weekly Torah portions, Tehillim and Pirkei Avot. Later on in the volume are six leaves with novellae on several Talmudic topics. The last leaf of the novellae mentions the book Torah Temimah, which was printed for the first time in 1902. From this, we learn that this volume here was written after Torah Temimah.

Aggadic novellae, some very original, some short essays on topics in history and  nationalism. The writer maintains original opinions, with a modern slant, but not Zionistic.

[26] leaf (written on both sides). High-quality paper. 21 cm.

Fine condition. Original binding. Partially detached spine.
