Haftarahs for Annual Shabbats with the Targum. Yemen, Early 19th Century
Thick handwritten volume including the hafatarahs for the weekly Torah portions and festivals, with Targum Onkelos.
The verses in the original and the Targum appear alternately, except Shirat HaYam and Shirat David, where the Targum is written in a separate column beside the original. The manuscript is entirely vowelized. The haftarah blessings are found at the end of the volume. Glosses and grammatical comments in the margins of many leaves. Owners' notations. Yemenite rabbinic signature on the last leaf. Apparently lacking the haftarah of parashat Ki Tetzeh.
Typical Yemenite binding, made of pieces of printed and handwritten leaves.
[107] leaf. 22 cm.
Moderate condition. Usage and aging stains. Ink smudges. Worming perforations and tunnels. Typical Yemenite binding, made of pieces of printed leaves and manuscripts.
