Invitation to the March of War Veterans signed by Ben Gurion/ along with relevant material
Invitation personally signed by the Prime Minister of Israel, David ben Gurion, with relevant background material.
Invitation to the celebration of volunteerism during the Second World War - ten years since the Jewish Brigade went to the front. Tel Aviv, 1955. The invitation was sent to Mr. Yaakov Rivkin [a Brigade prisoner of war] and returned to him with the autograph of David ben Gurion.
Includes an official letter from the Bureau of the Minister of Defense: "As per your request, we are hereby returning your invitation to the march commemorating a decade of the Jewish Brigade, signed by the Minister of Defense, Mr. D. Ben Gurion."
Additionally includes the official booklet B'Shlichut Ha'am V'Hamoledet published by the committee for the celebration of volunteerism in March 1955, with an expansive review of the history of the Jewish Brigade. [The booklet was given out at the festivities that took place that year.]
