Pair of Important Books of Chassidism, First Editions: Ach Pri Tevuah / Dvir HaMutznah

* Sefer Ach Pri Tevuah - Chassidism according to the weekly Torah portions by the Admo"r Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska (teacher and rabbi of Rabbi Yishayaleh of Kerestir.) Part II. Munkacs, 1876. First edition.

First edition of the renowned Chassidic work by a unique Chassidic tzaddik, the wonder-worker, the Rebbe Rabbi Hersheleh of Liska. The book was brought to print just after the author's passing, by his grandson.

The book opens with an enthusiastic approbation by the Admo"r, the author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz. The publisher writes that he did not take any other approbations, per the instructions of his grandfather, the author, who instructed that if they want to print the book, they should ask for an approbation from one tzaddik. The approbation was printed in both parts. The author's last will and testament was also printed in the first part.

Part II: Vayikra-Devarim. [1], 88 leaf. 22.5 cm. Stefansky, Chassidut 41.

* Bound with: Sefer Ravid HaZahav, Chelek Dvir HaMutzna - Chassidic insights on the Torah by Rabbi Yisrael Dov Ber Gelernter of Yashnitze. Premishlan, 1876. First edition.

The author was a disciple of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimanov, Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kossov, Rabbi Naftali of Ropschitz and others. Rabbi Avraham David of Butschatsch, author of Eshel Avraham, recited the Shehecheyanu blessing upon seeing him - with Shem and Malchut!
