Mishnat Chachamim. Early Edition. Beautiful Handwritten Dedication by Rabbi Aryeh Levin

Sefer Mishnat Chachamim by Rabbi Moshe Chajes. Second edition. Chernowitz, 1864. With approbations for the first time from the author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz and Rabbi Y.A. of Komárno. Pedigree copy that belonged to the sacred gaon Rabbi Aryeh Levin, who gave it as a gift to a prominent citizen of Jerusalem.

Beautiful, special dedication at the top of the title page from 1936, handwritten and signed by the Yerushalmi tzaddik, the sacred gaon Rabbi Aryeh Levin - gift to the avreich Rabbi Yitzchak Eisenbach, son of Rabbi Chaim Tzvi, in honor of his wedding. There is an additional dedication in the title page "To Rabbi Aryeh Levin" - apparently he himself used this sefer before he gave it away as a wedding gift.

The tzaddik Rabbi Aryeh Levin, known in Jerusalem and across the entire world for his blessings that are always fulfilled, blesses the bridegroom with beautiful blessings in a lyrical style. "May the lofty L-rd bless you with all blessings and successes and mazal tov, with true joy, and may you be privileged to unrestricted legacy; may the Merciful One be praised and glorified through you throughout the generations for ever and ever."

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the tzaddik Rabbi Aryeh Levin.

[2], 87 leaf, 23 cm.
