A Letter from Rabbi Avraham Zvi Klein, Av Beit Din of Silas-Balasz
A letter in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Avraham Zvi Klein, Av Beit Din of Silas-Balasz, dated: 1863.
A letter of Torah thoughts which was sent to the author of the Yeriot Shlomo. At the beginning of the letter, Rabbi Klein praises the Yeriot Shlomo extensively, "Who is the one who dares stand before his exalted great honor and does not fear his great fire...his great name is known throughout the Jewish world and is there anyone in all of the lands of the diaspora who has not heard and seen his great righteousness and his teachings and genius...". He later asks him to comment on a booklet which is going to send him on halachic matters, and consults which him regarding the appointment of Rabbis to various congregations, and asks him about the status of the children of a person who married a woman after divorcing another woman in a doubtful divorce, and other matters of halacha.
