Letter of Responsum Handwritten by the Yad Yitzchak of Tolcsva. 1892. Unprinted


Lengthy responsum letter covering three pages [approximately 2000 words]. Entirely handwritten and signed by the renowned gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Glick, av beit din of Tolcsva, author of Shu"t Yad Yitzchak and one of the leading rabbis of Hungary toward the end of the 19th century. Tolcsva, 1892. Not printed.


The letter is addressed to "My dear beloved ... Rabbi Asher Anshel HaKohen" with a reply to his questions about what Rabbi Glick had written in his sefer Be'er Yitzchak al Masechet Chulin from leaf 62 onwards (Lvov, 1896). Rabbi Glick deliberates at length and responds to all his questions. Regards in the margins of the letter.
