Large collection of photos - soldiers in the Jewish Brigade
Collection with about 200 photos of Jewish soldiers serving in the Jewish Brigade during the Second World War. Europe, 1943-1945.
Photos depicting Jewish soldiers in the Jewish Brigade during roll call, in the dining room, near Shabbat candles [with an Israeli flag and the Luchot], many group pictures, driving military jeeps, military parades, tent camps, sailing on the sea and more. The pictures were taken in various locations in Europe, and some have Hebrew captions on their backs [name of the soldier, year - between 1943-1945, and other details]. Some pictures bear the photographer's stamp on the back.
Most of the photos measure 6x9 cm. Some are larger or smaller.
Overall fine condition.
