Tikkun Shlomo. Amsterdam, 1737. Especially Rare Sefer
Tikkun Shlomo in German - Seder Tikkunei Shabbat by the G-dly Rabbi Yitzchak Luria Ashkenazi. In addition, Seder Motza"ei Shabbat, Dinei Hanhagot Erev Shabbat, Dinei Hadlakat Nerot LeShabbat, Dinei Tefilat Minchah LeShabbat, Dinei Yayin LeKiddush and Dinei Kiddush. Zemirot for each meal, as well as zemirot for Motza'ei Shabbat, Pesukei Eliyahu, Dinei Havdalah, Dinei Seder Birkat HaLevanah - all this was arranged and collected by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman London. Amsterdam, at Hertz Levi HaRofeh Press. 1737.
Rare first edition of Kabbalistic Shabbat services, printed many dozens of times. R' Shlomo Zalman London's introduction, in German, is printed on the back of the title page.
Title page: "Reprinted."
This rare sefer is known from Roest, in the Rosenthal library: Roest, Meijer Marcus: Catalog der Hebraica und Judaica aus der L. Rosenthal’schen Bibliothek no. 712, where it says 1737 [תצ"ז], according to the letters emphasized in the year detail on the title page.
The sefer is not listed in Mif'al HaBibliographiah HaIvri, and is not in the National Library. A copy was recently received from the Valmadonna Library (copy on brittle paper), recorded as printed in 1731. This is that same copy, but they did not calculate the emphasized letter ו' in the year detail. It appears that the correct date is 1737, both because the first edition was printed in 1733, and in this title page here, it states that it was reprinted.
116 leaf, 12.5 cm.
Moderate condition. Restored blemishes in the margins of many leaves with damage to the text. New semi-leather binding.
