Opening Shana Tova Card - Herzl. England 1909 - Rare Shana Tova card - opens. The outer cover has a relief of a house near a lake and flowers. The interior of the card has a picture of Theodor Herzl printed in gilt ink beside a star of David with  'ציון' ['Tziyon'] written in it, and the text ' לשנה טובה תכתבו ותחתמו' ['May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year'], and the text of the blessing in Yiddish. Sent by Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Makofski and Son of Leeds, England in 1909. Size [open]: 10x15 cm. Handwritten dedication on the back. Fine condition.
